Before You Arrive

• Hours of operation are 10 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Sunday

• We recommend 1.5 - 2 hours to tour the entire Aquarium & outdoor exhibits

• The facility is wheelchair accessible, including the grounds. Be aware the trails are gravel.

• Strollers are allowed throughout the facility and grounds

• Parking is free

Getting Here

• We are located at 1 Aquarium Drive in Medicine Park on Highway 49, north of Lawton

• We are south of the highway, adjacent to Medicine Park

• Tall blue & green flags mark our entrance

• Our entrance is less than 1/4 mile from the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge entrance

During Your Visit

• Feeding Shows and interactive Critter Chats happen throughout the day. Check the schedule at the gift shop when you arrive.

• Our gift shop has lots of unique options for souvenirs or gifts for family and friends. Snacks and drinks are also available for purchase.

• Visitors can purchase food cups for $1 each to feed the turtles and quail. This is always a family favorite!

Need To Know

• Snacks & beverages are available for purchase in our Fish Camp Gift Shop.

• Strollers are allowed throughout the Aquarium & grounds.

• Strollers are not available for rent at this time.

• Our facility is ADA compliant.

• Cameras are permitted in the Aquarium. Please do not use flash.

• Lost and found items will be returned at the Fish Camp Gift Shop.

• Call (580) 529-3601 between the hours of 10 am - 5 pm for lost items.

Prohibited Items

• Weapons of any kind

• Matches or lighters

• Pets (service dogs are allowed)

Service Animals

• Trained service dogs are welcome at the facility.

• Check in with your dog at the admissions desk.

• Some of our animals can be sensitive to dogs.

• Always keep your service dog calm and under control.

• Should an exhibit animal react negatively (flight or fight response) to your service dog, please promptly and calmly leave the exhibit area with your dog. Staff is ready to assist you and your animal if needed.

• Certain exhibits such as The Quail Encounter may be off limits to service dogs.

• Be respectful of the exhibited wildlife and your fellow visitors.

• Pets cannot be allowed. Due to health, behavior and general safety concerns for our animals and visitors, pets and emotional support animals cannot be allowed on institutional grounds.
