  • Doug Kemper, In Memoriam

    Doug Kemper served as Executive Director from 2008 until his passing in 2021. He led this facility from its infancy as a mere idea to the ever-growing gem it is today. His leadership and mentorship left an impact on all who had the privilege to work with him, and his legacy will be carried on with great pride.

  • Rainette Rowland, Executive Director

    Rainette Rowland began her aquarium career roughly 20 years ago assisting Doug as he brought the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks, OK to life from the ground up. She worked at the Oklahoma Aquarium until 2009 when her family relocated to Cache, OK. She joined Doug once again to bring the Medicine Park Aquarium & Natural Sciences Center to life, serving as Deputy Director until Doug’s passing in 2021.

  • Nicole Brown, Deputy Director

    Nicole Brown obtained a a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from Texas A&M Galveston in 2008. Her work history includes volunteer work with the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network, which rehabilitates stranded marine mammals along the coast, as well as providing education to the public. She spent six years at the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks working as a biologist in the Invertebrate department. In 2014, she joined the Medicine Park team as the Aquarium and Life Sciences Director.
